Military Affairs

When Wilmington College opened its doors in 1947, seventy-five percent of students were World War II veterans. UNCW now serves over 2,100 military-affiliated students. From a top Military Times ranking to a significant award from the Council of College and Military Educators, UNCW’s commitment to quality educational programs for military-affiliated students continues to earn national recognition.

Your gift to Military Affairs will provide funding for:

  • Scholarships for active and retired servicemen and women

  • Programs and services that help military-affiliated students and their families transition to civilian life

  • Ally training workshops for UNCW faculty and staff
